(2021)
  • Thanasis Theofilopoulos, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences
Abstract
This publication was based on the main findings of “Bring-In” project’s field research with social and health care professionals in Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary and the UK. Its purpose is to support and guide adult trainers in order to build the capacity of the aforementioned professional groups so that they may provide high quality supporting services to intersex people. The 2-days basic training programme incorporates adult training techniques, thus facilitating active learning and interaction between the trainer(s) and the trainees as well as among the trainees themselves. Adult trainers are welcomed to make necessary adjustments and adaptations based on their personal skills, experiences and/or the topics they want to focus more, the profile and background of their trainees as well as the national/social context. Useful resources that will help them better prepare are also included in this publication.
