Dr. Teri Kwal Gamble's research interests include media, interpersonal and public communication, leadership and gender, and sales and sports communication. She is a professional writer of education and training materials.
She and her husband, Michael, have written numerous text and trade books, including The Public Speaking Playbook (SAGE), the best-selling Communication Works, now in its 12th edition (McGraw-Hill), Leading with Communication: A Practical Approach to Leadership (SAGE), The Gender Communication Connection (M.E. Sharpe), Interpersonal Communication: Building Connections Together (SAGE), Public Speaking in the Age of Diversity (Allyn and Bacon), Oral Interpretation: Bringing Literature to Life Through Performance (McGraw-Hill), and Sales Scripts That Sell (Amacom).
Gamble teaches courses in leadership, organizational and strategic communication, gender and sports communication, and media. She is the co-founder of Interact Training Systems, a consulting firm that conducts seminars, workshops, and short courses for educational and business and professional organizations.
