Abstract

Students at a state university in the Southeast were surveyed to determine whether conservative Protestants differed from their peers regarding level of parental education, family income, and gender. The attitudes and behaviors of conservative Protestants were compared with their peers regarding academic attitudes, academic dishonesty, grades, and views of science and religion. Analyses revealed that conservative Protestants differed among themselves and from their peers on a variety of these variables.
