Measuring g with a Joystick PendulumThe Physics Teacher
AbstractA method for experimentally measuring g, the Earth's gravitational acceleration, is presented. This method uses a computer joystick and computer as the primary measuring device. If a computer is available, it costs almost nothing to implement, and can be adapted for use as a high school or undergraduate lab exercise, or as a lecture demonstration.
