About Tarik W Michael MD, RDMS (Abdomen & OB/GYN), RVT

Dr. Tarik W Michael graduated from Kharkov Medical School in 1993 and worked as a Physician for more than 8 years and a Medical Director of a hospital for three years. He then pursued the field of Sonography at Argosy University of Minnesota and Adventist Medical University of Florida. He has worked as a lead Sonographer III at Edina Family Physicians and then at Allina Health Services for 13 years. His credentials are a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in the field of General Abdomen & OB/GYN and also a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). He is a member of the professional organizations such as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Dr. Tarik Michael is now serving as an Assistant Professor in the Sonography Department of St. Catherine University since fall 2017. During these years, He had a privilege to teach Medial Physics (Sound Physics), Abdominal Sonography labs, OB/Neonatal Sonography lectures and labs, Reproductive System Sonography lectures and labs, Vascular Sonography lectures and labs, and Small Parts lectures. He loves teaching and enjoys interacting with his students. In his spare time, He loves spending time with his family (wife and two boys), visiting places, playing tennis, playing musical instruments and also attending church services.
