About Tammy R Toscos

Tammy Tosco's research interests are motivated by prior professional experience as a healthcare provider and include leveraging technology to empower individuals to better manage their chronic disease and motivate healthy people to improve their health. She is interested in designing technologies that help support patient decision-making and improve communication between patients, care givers, and healthcare providers. Tammy holds a PhD in Informatics from Indiana University (2011) and recently completed an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) funded Postdoctoral Health Services Research Fellowship at the Regenstrief Institute and Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis (2013).
