Wire Rope Condition Assessment
Proceedings, ICOMS-98, 3rd International Conference of Maintenance Societies
Abstract
The paper briefly reviews maintenance systems currently in use. It then proceeds to identify various site-specific conditions that characterize mines and have an impact on the maintenance system effectiveness and efficiency. These are compared against requirements of selected maintenance systems and conclusions are drawn on applicability of the latter in mines.
