Join us for a discussion of the exciting new book The Jewish Political Tradition: Volume III: Community, co-authored by Michael Walzer, Menachem Lorberbaum, Noam Zohar, and Madeline Kochen. Two of the authors, Michael Walzer, Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, and Menachem Lorberbaum of Tel Aviv University and the Shalom Hartman Institute, Jerusalem, will discuss the evolution of this monumental project, with its distinctive mix of political and legal theory as it relates to issues of daily life and communal survival. Suzanne Last Stone of Cardozo Law School will offer a response, and will then moderate a general Q and A.
