About Sutoidem Akpanudo

Sutoidem Akpanudo MD, PhD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine.
 
Dr. Akpanudo earned his Master of Public health degree from Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health in 2002. In 2006, he earned a PhD from the University of Toledo in Health Education with a concentration in statistics and research design. Dr Akpanudo received his medical degree from the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Toledo in 2009. Prior to joining Marshall University in 2014 he worked as a hospitalist with Northwest Ohio Internal Medicine Consultants based at The Toledo Hospital, in Toledo, Ohio.
 
His research interests include smoking cessation, survey research methods, patient satisfaction, school health and rural health.
