About Susan Plemons Troth, M.M.

Susan is Associate Professor of Worship at Cedarville University where she teaches Contemporary Voice and directs the women’s worship band, [re]kindle. She recently passed the Estill Vocal Training Basic Options for Voice Control exam and is pursuing certification as a Master Teacher of the Estill Vocal Training method. Susan has served on the music faculties of the University of South Florida and Southeastern University. She was also the Minister of Music for Southside Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida and Cornerstone Baptist Church in Spring, Texas. While on church staff she began orchestra programs, concert series, and directed theatrical performances in addition to leading worship and worship ensembles. She has taught music in K-12 classrooms and her choirs have received superior ratings at contests, performed choral premiers and have been featured in performances on radio, tv and in New York and Orlando. Other conducting experience includes Assistant Conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus and Assistant Conductor of the Singing Women of Florida. She has performed in regional Broadway productions and is a featured soloist at home and abroad.
