About Susan Browne

Current research focuses on the Life Histories reader response methodology that is framed by Cole & Knowles (2001) anthropological life history inquiry. Literary Life Histories emphasize deep understandings of characters using intensive reading strategies and are expressed through dramatic performance. The research site is an arts and education program at a community-based professional theatre company in Philadelphia.
