About Suraj Sunder, MD, MPH

Suraj Sunder, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonology and is currently a pulmonologist at National Jewish Health. Dr. Sunder is in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in biology and the University of Texas Health Science Center, with a master's degree in public health. Dr. Sunder attended medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center and did his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Washington University. Dr. Sunder's clinical interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary vascular disease and in providing patients with individualized treatment and a dedicated focus on leading-edge treatments and personalized care. His other interests include the treatment of critically ill patients with respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism (PE) and acute lung injury (ALI).
