About Suhail Qadir Allaqaband, MD, FACC, FCCP, FSCAI

Suhail Allaqaband, MD, is an internationally renowned interventional cardiologist. As Director of Cardiovascular Interventions at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, he is highly skilled in the most complex interventional procedures. As a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Medicine through the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the Associate Director of Aurora Health Care's Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program, Dr. Allaqaband takes great pride in sharing his wealth of experience with the next generation of cardiologists. In addition to his skills as a clinician and teacher, Dr. Allaqaband is a devoted researcher who serves as Director of Clinical Cardiovascular Research for Aurora Cardiovascular Services. He is principal investigator on many clinical trials, including studies evaluating left main stenting and bioabsorbable stents. More than 100 of his cutting-edge research manuscripts and abstracts have been published in premier cardiology journals, such as Circulation. His contributions to the field of cardiovascular disease have helped Dr. Allaqaband achieve Fellow status in the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, and the American College of Chest Physicians, the latter of which also named him Vice Chair of the ACCP Cardiovascular Network.
