About Sudhendu Choubey, MD, FACC, FACP, FASNC, RPVI

Dr. Sudhendu Choubey is a native of Sasaram, India. He attended Jawaharal Nehru Medical Center in Bhagalpur, India, graduating in 1986. He then did his internship and fellowship at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and Long Island College Hospital, Department of Cardiology in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Choubey has served his patients and community at New River Valley Heart Clinic since 1999. In addition to his full-time practice, he has privileges at LewisGale Montgomery Hospital.
Dr. Choubey holds Board Certifications in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiology as well as Level 2 Certification for Cardiovascular CT. He also holds CoCat Certification for Level 2 MRI.
He is a member of multiple medical organizations such as: ACC, NBE, AMA, ACP, and ASNC.
