About Steven M. Gfell Mr.

Steve Gfell is the owner of On Campus Culture, LLC where he acts as a cultural consultant and coach for school leaders.
Like many leaders, Steve was left to find his own way--learning from his own shortcomings and mistakes. With no one there to guide him, he often learned as a result of many painful lessons. Convinced that it did not need to be this way, he founded On Campus Culture.
Steve has over a decade of experience as a school administrator successfully leading numerous school initiatives while fostering a caring and collaborative culture. He has served as a mentor for aspiring leaders and been a mentor for new and veteran school administrators.
Steve has authored business to business articles on the importance of organizational culture, and he has worked with local schools to improve the climate of their respective teams. His coaching approach is designed to bring out the best in all leaders regardless of their position or title. Steve is also a skilled group facilitator and speaker who applies research-based techniques to assess organizational culture and guide his clients through change initiatives.
As a doctoral candidate in Leadership Studies at Bowling Green State University, Steve has specialized in organizational culture, change management, and leadership development. He is also certified to administer the Denison Organizational Culture Survey and the Denison Leadership 360 Survey.
Most importantly, Steve believes in the old proverb: “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” In his role as guide and teacher, Steve builds the leadership capacity in every one of his clients by giving leaders and organizations the tools they need to move forward.
