About Steven Engel

Professor Engel received his Ph.D. in political science from Loyola University of Chicago and has been a faculty member at Georgia Southern since 1999. He has been the director of the University Honors Program since 2005. His teaching and research interests focus on political philosophy, patriotism and nationalism, and political action committees. He is the author of several articles and book chapters on these topics.
