Abstract
Treatment of [NEt4][(pzTp)FeIII(CN)3] (1) with NiII(OTf)2 (OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate) and 1,5,8,12-tetraazododecane (L) or 2,2‘-bipyridine (bipy) affords two cyanide-bridged trinuclear FeIII2NiII complexes of {[(pzTp)FeIII(CN)3]2[NiII(L)]}·1/2MeOH (2) and {[(pzTp)FeIII(CN)3]2[NiII(bipy)2]}·2H2O (3) stoichiometry. Complex 3 exhibits slow relaxation of the magnetization above 2 K.
