About Stephanie Itle-Clark, Ed.D., CHES

Stephanie Itle-Clark is the Director of Learning for Humane Society Academy at The Humane Society of the United States where she oversees educational and professional development opportunities for professionals, volunteers, and advocates in the field of animal protection. She is a Certified Humane Education Specialist and has served in various governing board positions for the Association of Professional Humane Educators. Her areas of specialization are curriculum development and design, humane pedagogy, animal welfare education, and prosocial education as it relates to the curriculum and educational reform. Before joining The HSUS Stephanie worked as a classroom teacher. She received her BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her M. Ed. in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University, and her Ed.D. Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding University.
