About Stacie Bosley

Stacie A. Bosley earned her Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota. She is currently the Kahlert professor of economics at Hamline University where she also serves as department chair. Bosley has published research on pyramid scheme fraud and multilevel marketing and has been interviewed by media outlets including USA Today,  the BBC, HBO’s Last Week Tonight, and National Public Radio. Bosley also serves as an expert witness in national pyramid scheme litigation and has presented her research at the Federal Trade Commission. In terms of teaching and university service, she has been awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award, the Dean’s Leadership Award and the Hamline University Advising Award. She teaches courses in microeconomics, behavioral economics and business analytics.
