About Stacey Stratton, M.F.A.

Professor Stratton has taught theatre at several colleges and universities in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky for more than 20 years. She has also spent much of her time freelancing as a guest-director, performer, fight-master, combat choreographer, and acting/vocal coach for many different arts alliances, fine arts academies, and theatre workshops. She is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC), and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC). Stacey has also worked alongside her husband in ministry for over 16 years, serving families with young children through Christian education, teaching various parenting classes and seminars, and leading parent-panel discussions. Her most rewarding job has been to educate and shepherd the hearts of her own two children who are now beginning their college journeys.
