Abstract
Methods of preparing the spine of books to be adhesive bound; implications of these multiple methods for bibliographers since many "disguise" the adhesive binding and suggest the book has been sewn. A followup to a note in Glaister's Glossary of the Book, published in Abbey Newsletter 6:2 (April 1981).
