About Shu Zhu

Dr. Zhu has teaching experience in physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and clinical medicine. While a faculty member in the Department of Physiology in Dalian Medical University, Dr. Zhu taught students from different levels and different schools such as School of Basic Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Allied Health. Dr. Zhu was also highly involved in the development and teaching of Integrated Functional Laboratory in the medical students’ curriculum. Currently, she is teaching in the osteopathic medicine and biomedical sciences programs. Her teaching responsibilities mainly focus on respiratory physiology and endocrine physiology in the DO program, while teaching courses such as scientific communication, vascular control mechanisms and historical development current themes in biomedical science research in the biomedical sciences program. She also serves as a mentor and committee member to master of science (MS) students.
