About Shu-Ching Chang, PhD, MS

Shu-Ching Chang joined Medical Data Research Center as a biostatistician in 2015. She has a broad background in statistics, with specific training and expertise in statistical modeling, optimization, survival, longitudinal data analysis, and extensive experiences on machine learning approaches for high-dimensional genetic association and classification studies. At MDRC, she has been involved in various collaborative projects on cancer research including statistical design of clinical trials, sample size and power analysis, NCDB, SEER and cancer registry database analysis and investigation as well as statistical support and consulting services for other service lines. Her main areas of interest lie in statistical methods related to biomarker evaluation, and collaborative research in biological data mining and analyses for new biology insights and discoveries.
