About Shreekanth Mandayam

Shreekanth Mandayam's research expertise is in the area of imaging, image processing, multi-sensor data fusion, advanced visualization and virtual reality. He is the founder and lead investigator in the Virtual Reality Lab in the South Jersey Tech Park, which has supported over $6M of research projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation, NASA, US Army and Navy, US Department of Commerce, US Department of Energy, Elekta Corporation, Medtronic etc. Dr. Mandayam has taught courses in Digital Image Processing, Electrical Communications Systems and Artificial Neural Networks. Dr. Mandayam is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He has served as the Vice President for Conferences for the IEEE Systems Council (2015 - 2016), Vice President for Publications (2011-2012) and Vice President for Finance (2009-2010) for the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society.
