Unseen: Exploring Users’ Campus Experience (Materials)
(2019)
Abstract
"Unseen" is intended to help identify knowledge gaps between library staff members and the undergraduate student population at your institution. It is not intended as a diversity exercise; you don’t need to be an expert going in about a certain gender, race, background, etc. and we don’t expect you will be after this experience. The whole point of this exercise is for participants to learn which populations of their undergraduate community they don’t know enough about in order to learn more about them later and be able to better serve the entirety of their community. Within this package you will find customizable exercise materials, a facilitation guide, and other instructions on how you can use Unseen as part of your own work.
