About Shaylin Holley

Shaylin adds the title of graduate from the School for International Training in Vermont, USA where he completed his Master of Arts in Teaching. He received his BA Degree in Political Science from Morgan State University and has been recognized as an American cultural ambassador among his peers and students alike.
Mr. Holley hails from the Mid-Atlantic state of Maryland in the United States of America. Since 2006, he has worked at Al Yamamah University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as part of the English Faculty under the auspices of Saudi INTERLINK Language Centers (SILC). He taught classes in YU’s academic, EMBA and orientation year programs and has a passion for creating learning inside the classroom. Since 2009, Shaylin has been serving in the capacity of Instructional Coordinator at SILC, but he maintains research interests in legal, business and international affairs. His teaching pedagogy focuses on identifying the learning needs of students and incorporating strategies to engage students in critical thinking and business preparedness. Closely paralleled to his teaching pedagogy, Shaylin passionately promotes students to become lifelong learners and globally competent citizens. He is an Oriental and French fragrance connoisseur and enjoys sampling coffee from around the world.
