Description

This advanced session explores current and potential addictive disorders found in the DSM-5. This includes gambling disorder, at this time the only addictive disorder enumerated alongside the substance related disorders in the DSM-5. Internet gaming disorder, currently a condition identified for further study, will be highlighted inclusive of cultural and diversity considerations. Additionally, the presenters will provide a research overview of possible future identified addictive FRIDAY disorders, presently under review.
