About Sebastian Vega

Dr. Vega is an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Rowan University with a research interest in developing biomaterial platforms for applications in disease modeling and regenerative medicine. Dr. Vega was a postdoctoral trainee in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Rutgers University. Dr. Vega's research has resulted in numerous conference presentations and articles in journals relevant to the field including Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie, Biomaterials, and Integrative Biology.
