Abstract
This paper analyzes the Alnwick manuscript, a 1523 unauthorized English translation of Erasmus's book the Enchiridion militis Christiani from a codicological standpoint in an effort to lay the groundwork of determining its translator and origins. The translation in question is thought to have been made by noted English reformer William Tyndale.
