I cannot achieve success in the classroom until I connect with my students on a professional and personal level first. This will allow me to first gain their trust and in turn encourage the student to entrust their academic well-being to me. Once this happens the learning process begins, and the result will be positive change for the student because of the knowledge gained through the learning process. The student will leave the course better and more knowledgeable than when they entered the course and that is success for both student and teacher.
