About Scott Michael Martinez

I am working primarily with the history of self-refutation arguements. From early Greek thought to contemporary philosophy, I trace accusations of self-contradiction, and attempt to analyze how these accusations impact philosophies of identity. Skepticism acts as one overarching umbrella for this history, but is not the only one. Literature also emerges at times as a valuable source for tracing the history of "Peri-trope."
