Time and attention: Review of the literature
Psychology of time (2008)
  • Scott W. Brown, University of Southern Maine
"Psychology of Time" by Simon Grondin (2008). This book of reviews fills a void, for although several edited books on the psychology of time have appeared within the last two decades, they usually focused on a narrower range of topics or contained empirical studies. The present volume aims for broad coverage of the field, although there are some lacunae, to be mentioned at the end. There are 13 chapters, preceded by a brief introduction by the editor that mainly summarizes the contents of each chapter. All chapters in this book are of high quality and make good reading. The book is a bit more expensive than one would like, but it is well worth the investment. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2012 APA, all rights reserved)
