CARLI SFX Documentation: Adding Local Objects to the KnowledgeBase and Adding New Portfolios to Targets

Abstract
The SFX KnowledgeBase contains a vast number of records, but it will never have everything. When you need SFX to describe and make publicly available a resource it has not already identified, you have two options (and may choose to pursue both): contact Ex Libris and wait for them to add a new object to their global KnowledgeBase, or add a “local object” to your SFX instance’s KnowledgeBase. The following instructions explain how to load local objects into the SFX KnowledgeBase and how to add new portfolios to targets.
