Abstract

In this session, we will discuss free and easy resources to collect assessment data and measure student outcomes for one-shot information literacy instruction sessions. The tools described are free of charge, easy to use (no coding or technical expertise needed), and many are easily integrated into LibGuides. These tools have allowed us to collect assessment data and measure what our students are learning in instruction sessions, and to share that information with our faculty. We will give concrete examples of what we have used and how, and hope to provide solid takeaways to attendees.
