About Sarah van Ingen


Sarah van Ingen is an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Urban Teacher Residency Partnership Program at the University of South Florida.  Her research agenda is focused on preparing elementary teachers of mathematics to engage in equitable teaching practices in diverse, urban classrooms.  Dr. van Ingen studies how teachers use research to inform their teaching, how mathematics consultation can be used to meet the needs of students with learning exceptionalities, and how teachers can deliver integrated STEM curriculum at the elementary level.   Dr. van Ingen is PI of the Tampa Bay Noyce Master Teacher Fellows Grant and Co-PI of the Evaluating the Efficacy of the Urban Teacher Partnership Program i3 Grant.
