Abstract
This research guide is designed as a course guide and was compiled for students in the Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School. The Entrepreneurship Clinic assists start-ups and small businesses with corporate formation and organization as well as with intellectual property protection. Coverage includes both general and in-depth resources relating to Michigan Limited Liability Companies, Delaware Corporate Governance, corporate entity research, intellectual property (trademarks and patents) for small businesses, and resources related to employment and securities law and regulations. In order to assist clinical students, particular focus is placed on practice-oriented resources such as manuals, toolkits, and forms. This guide was presented to clinical students during a bibliographic instruction presentation and was then made available for later use in clinic work.
