DescriptionAre you tired of grading the same old lab report time and time again? Why not shake things up a bit? This session will help teachers with ideas for alternatives to the traditional lab report, using writing assessments specific to the focus and goals of their lab activities. We'll also discuss how these assessments can help to address data analysis and modeling, and connect to engineering and real-world scientific research, all of which are a focus of the new NGSS standards.
