About Sarah Beman

Sarah worked at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) on the Cardiac and Renal Unit and then the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. In October 2006 Sarah began teaching nursing at St. Catherine University (St. Kate's) in the Associate Degree Nursing Program. In 2011 Sarah completed her MA as a Nurse Educator at St. Kate's. In 2017, she completed her Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. During her time at St. Kate's she has been a coordinator and then director of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Her current roles include Interim Program Director of the MSNEL Program and the Collaborative Practice Site Coordinator between the HSSH and the MDVA. During the summer, Sarah volunteers as a nurse at YMCA Camp Icaghowan and coordinates the student nurse internship program between the Greater Twin Cities YMCA residential camps and St. Kate's.
