About Sara B. Marcketti

Sara Marcketti’s research examines dress history, particularly focused on the 20th century U.S. ready-to-wear apparel industry, as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning from both a student and faculty perspective. Dr. Marcketti has co-authored 3 books and more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles. Marcketti currently serves as Vice President Internal Relations of the Costume Society of America and Past President of the AAFCS-Iowa affiliate.
