Associate Professor Department of Electrical Engineering
Dr. Das joined the Electrical Engineering Dept. at Kennesaw State University in Fall 2014. He received his Ph.D. and M.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina (USC), Columbia, in 2014 and 2012 respectively. Dr. Das completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST, Shibpur, India) in 2004. He also has four years of industrial experience in the power and energy sector (TATA Power, Delhi, India).
Dr. Das' research expertise include Semiconductor Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, Thin-film and Nanocrystalline Solar Cells, Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Harvesting Systems, and High Energy Radiation Detectors. Dr. Das has authored/co-authored more than twenty research articles published in international journals and conference proceedings.
