About Samuel W. Calhoun

Professor Samuel W. Calhoun joined Washington and Lee in 1978. His teaching focuses on contracts, legal writing, commercial transactions, and the abortion controversy. He received the Law Alumni Association Fellowship in Teaching Excellence in 2003-04 and the John W. Elrod Law Alumni Association Fellowship in Teaching Excellence in 2007-08.
Professor Calhoun's articles have appeared in a variety of law and historical journals. He is admitted to practice in Georgia.
