About Samuel Siu

Dr. Samuel Siu is a professor in the Department of Medicine, Cardiology, at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, as well as a scientist at the Children's Health Research Institute (CHRI).

Dr. Samuel Siu received his MD from the University of Alberta and completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiac Ultrasound at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and Harvard Teaching Hospitals.  He holds Master degrees from Harvard School of Public Health and Richard Ivey School of Business.  He has held leadership positions at University of Toronto and Western University.

Dr. Siu's current focus includes:  maternal cardiac health, cardiac imaging, adult congenital heart disease, knowledge translation, and program development.  He is the recipient of 2014 Department of Medicine Senior Researcher Award, 2015 Schulich Dean's Award for Research, and the Ivey Scholar Award.  Dr. Siu was elected valedictorian of his 2014 Ivey executive MBA graduating class.
