About Samantha Turnipseed

Samantha Turnipseed, MS, LCMHC-S is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services for the Department of Behavioral Health. She is licensed by the state of North Carolina as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor.

Samantha received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University. Her clinical experience includes providing intensive psychiatric rehabilitation treatment to individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness, to outpatient counseling with adolescents and young adults with a focus on trauma treatment. In her current role, Samantha provides counseling to graduate students of Campbell University. She is passionate about providing and teaching the tenants of trauma-informed care.
