About Samantha Davis

Samantha Davis is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Simulation Coordinator for the Department of Respiratory Care at Boise State University. In 2014, she earned a Master of Science in Respiratory Care Leadership and expects to complete her PhD in Interprofessional Healthcare Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2023. Davis currently holds credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist-Neonatal Pediatric Specialist, Certified Asthma Educator, and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. Since relocating to Boise in 2016, Samantha has become heavily involved with simulation. In 2018, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Simulation and became Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. Samantha's research interests include interprofessional healthcare and the use of simulation and gaming in respiratory care education. She has been a featured presenter at multiple continuing education events throughout the country. Most recently, Davis was elected to the National Asthma Educator Certification Board for the 2017-2019 term.
