Since 2019, the NERL Program Council (PC) has been working towards developing tools to lead us collectively to transformations in licensing strategies. I have been fortunate to be part of this transition, and am proud to stand by NERL's statement on how we will move forward in the changing scholarly publishing environment. Key elements of the statement show alignment with NERL core values: trasparency, sustainability, equity, reproducibility, and flexibility.

The NERL PC is 30 members strong, and they negotiatie and license scholarly content for all 137 NERL Core and Affiliate member libraries from across the United States.
