Prior to the transformation of the School of Library and Information Science to the iSchool at the University of Texas in late 2002, as small group of graduate students, under the direction of the Dean, Roberta Schaffer, established the University of Texas Information Architecture Group as there were no courses offered in Information Architecture, an emerging area in information science. Our main project was redesigning the San Antonio Public Library Website. The link provided leads to an archived version of our work.
