About Saifuddin Mama

For nine years, Dr. Mama was the director of Adolescent Gynecology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  He has received numerous teaching awards, including the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award, the Leonard Tow Humanism Award and the Diane Barton Caring Award.  Dr. Mama has 10 years of experience in multiple medical missions volunteering abroad in Africa and Asia as a teaching attending and surgeon.  Dr. Mama has been listed in Philadelphia Magazine's "Top Docs" for obstetrics and gynecology with recognition in adolescent gynecology and endometriosis.  He has also been recognized by South Jersey Magazine's "Top Doctors for Kids" in pediatric gynecology.  Dr. Mama serves on the Board of Directors of the International Organization for Women and Development and the Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia.  He is also a member of the Vision Society at Monmouth University.
