"About the 'In This Together' COVID-19 documentation project"

Abstract
In this video presentation, Ruth E. Bryan introduces the University of Kentucky (UK) Special Collections Research Center's (SCRC) "In This Together: Documenting COVID-19 in the Commonwealth" documentation project to students in UK geography professor Tony Stallins' Fall 2020 GEO 261: Global Health Dynamics class. Bryan briefly explains what archives are; shows examples of what kinds of primary sources SCRC has for the 1918 influenza pandemic; explains how, in 100 years, "In This Together" submissions will be like the 1918 flu recollections are for us in 2020; and demonstrates how the collection will be organized, cataloged, and accessed online.
