Abstract
Micro Independent Software Vendors (microISVs) are small software businesses operated by entrepreneurs who build and sell shrink-wrapped, noncustom software. The microISV Research Alliance at Auburn University conducted a survey, identifying challenges associated with building and operating such businesses.
