About Dr Ruben Ndihokubwayo

Biography:
Dr. Ruben Ndihokubwayo holds a PhD Degree in Construction Economics (2014) from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a Masters Degree in Construction Management (2008) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology - South Africa and a Bachelor Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying (2005) from National University of Science and Technology - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Ruben’s first venture into research was in 2004 when he developed an Increased Cost Adjustment (ICA) Formula suitable for optimum cost escalation recovery in high inflationary and unstable macroeconomic environments. Recently in 2018, Ruben designed a Two-Dimension Equalised-Scores Tender Adjudication Principle (2D-ESTAP), as a method for fair selection of construction tenderers. His areas of research interest include resource optimisation and policy-related issues in construction. Ruben has published several papers in conference proceedings and journals at local and international venues. He is currently working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Cape Peninsula University of Technology - Cape Town - South Africa.
